Habitat For Humanity ReStore

I spent four months as a marketing and advertising consultant, along with being the lead graphic designer. Habitat For Humanity wanted to reach a larger audience in terms of higher physical donations and awareness of the organization within their community. After conducting surveys and research, we found that in order to reach a larger targeted market, there were two main ideas to focus on.

First,

to create relevant, eye-opening, advertisements to be placed at local community centers, theaters, and on their social media sites. In order to create a connection from the viewer to the ReStore, the advertisements include a shadow of a missing furniture item. An item that you, the viewer, could donate to your local Habitat for Humanity ReStore store to help "be the missing piece" for someone else.

Second,

we wanted to connect local home goods stores and furniture stores to Habitat For Humanity ReStore. In order to do this, these local furniture stores would off a promotional discount to their customers if the customer agreed to donate the old furniture that they are replacing, to the ReStore. Customers would be able to notice that the company is a Habitat For Humanity ReStore Partner by a window sticker on the exterior of the building.

Below are examples of potential advertisements for the ReStore Partnership program.
